Gov. Howard Dean, former Presidential candidate, Chair of the Democratic Party, and architect of the 50-state strategy that is changing everything, is coming to Rapid City on August 16! This visit is a benefit for the South Dakota Democratic Party. There will be a special event at the home of Party Chair Judy Olson Duhamel at 6 pm, then a benefit ($50) dessert reception at 7:30 pm at the Radisson in Rapid City, with the doors opening to the public with no admission charge at 8:30.

3. Sweet Bike Raffle!
The South Dakota Democratic Party is raffling off a Harley Softail. The tickets are $100, but, hey, only 500 tickets will be sold statewide it's a sweet bike and the money is absolutely needed to help our candidates get the message out--if we get a chance to really be heard, we will win. (There's a great second prize too!) The bike is on dsplay at at the Billion West River HQ, 629 Main in Rapid City until August 8.
