Friday Forum May 4
The Friday Forum resumes May 4, 4pm, at the RC Public Library upstairs meeting room. This week, Kathryn Johnson of the SD Board of Regents weighing in on the controversial Voc-Tech governance issue. Who should run the vocational schools in this state was a much-debated issue in the Legislature this year.

Saturday Cinco de Mayo Party
The Pennington County Democratic Party is organizing the First Annual Teri Powell Memorial Cinco de Mayo Festival. Teri was a Spanish teacher, a great community activist, animal advocate, and hard-working Democrat. To celebrate her memory we are celebrating Cinco de Mayo with authentic Mexican foods, music, dance, games and more at this family event.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Fine Arts Building, Central States Fairgrounds.

Admission:  $1 ticket, which enters your name into a drawing for a $1000 trip to Mexico, sponsored in part by Bill Walsh Travel
