Continuing the tradition President Obama and his family began four years ago, the National Day of Service is set to take place this Saturday, January 19 in communities across the country.
The South Dakota Democratic Party has pledged to help by hosting a Game Drive for Mentoring Services. We'll be collecting board games (for a minimum of 2 players), coloring books, art supplies, and dice or cards which are needed to supplement the supplies at area schools.

There are many worthy causes throughout the Black Hills!
The National Day of Service is the kick-off to Inauguration weekend celebrating the swearing in of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
