Donating to the PenDems for 2008
Pendems were able to change things a lot in 2006. That election was not the same tired old monologue -- Republicans were forced to discuss their ideas and policies and it has made a huge difference. One of the big reasons this happened is Dems stepped forward to support the County Party in many ways, including financially.
If you haven't done it already, sign on to the website and make your commitment to support Democratic candidates in 2008 with a monthly contribution starting now. Even small amounts add up, and regular contributions are wonderful because they both add up and provide for continuing expenses like office rent, phone, website, etc... If the half of the recipients of this e-newsletter donate the equivalent of two drive-through coffees ($5) a month we will be in a great position to support our candidates in 2008. Sign up! It's easy. http://www.pendem.org/donate.php For more information, on this and other ways to support the PenDems financially, contact our treasurer, Nadine Thomas (email: treasurer@pendem.org).

Pendems made a great showing at the fair!
Thanks to the hard work by the many that came forward to help with our booth, the PenDemorandum now goes to no less than 375 people, and we also had a chance to talk to many people about our values and speculate about the Presidential primary. Some pictures can be seen on the PenDem blog:
