3. Abrahamson speaks out on education funding
Monday at 1 pm, at the Billion West River HQ, 629 Main St, Rapid City, Democratic Lieutenant Governor Candidate Eric Abrahamson will conduct a press conference to discuss the effect of inadequate funding for education on current negotiations over teacher pay in Rapid City. Abrahamson will be joined by former Rapid City Education Assoc. President Sharon Darrow and several Democratic legislative candidates.

4. Herseth debate warm-up party, Mon. night
From the Herseth Campaign:
Please join Stephanie at her Herseth for Congress Open House on Monday, October 9th at 4:30 ? 5:30 pm at the Herseth West River Campaign Office at 514 7th Street.  She will go on to her Congressional Debate at KOTA at 6:00 pm.  Please join her at her Open House and pre-debate rally!  After we walk Stephanie over to KOTA, you are welcome to go on to the Dublin Square at the Radisson to watch the debate on the big screen TV.  Thank you!

The Common Ground initiative was envisioned as a call to bring real dialogue on important issues to State politics and government. Unfortunately, some Republicans have chosen to literally and figuratively sit in the back of the room and criticize our Party instead of  talking about the issues Common Ground addresses.
