2. PenDems at HE SAPA WACIPI (PowWow) this weekend
The last PowWow of the year will be down at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center this weekend. The Dem booth will be open from 11am-10pm Fri and Sat, and 11-6pm on Sunday. All are encouraged to help us at the booth, or if you can't just come by and lend your support! Contact your favorite PenDem candidate to offer to help during their booth time; or if you don't have one yet (or can't choose among this stellar group), check with Theresa Spry (sprybunch@aol.com). Our Dem candidates will be honored in the Friday Grand Entry at 7 pm!

4. SD Campaign for Healthy Families Events
SDCHF has been really busy and they are not backing off! There will be fundraising reception at Firehouse Brewing Co. on Saturday 10/7 at 5 pm, and a lit drop event on Sunday 10/8 from 2-6. For more info on these events, email leah@sdhealthfamilies.org or amber@sdhealthyfamlies.org
