2. PenDems Meeting Report
The PenDems had a very successful meeting on Thursday, Nov 16.  Almost sixty committed Democrats were there, and the course was set for the next few months. Sarge Preston was elected State Committeeman from a field of five motivated and energized candidates. Candidates for State Party Chair were discussed, and the good news from around the County and around the State was celebrated. For more information see:

3. Democracy Now!
Paul Jensen of the PenDems suggested we check out this website.  Traditional news organizations, although many do great reporting, sometimes have their content and delivery modified to get higher ratings, or better serve the needs of corporate stockholders. Even news from public broadcasting isn't always unbiased--for example, the entire board of directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which is a major funder of public broadcasting, must be approved by Congress? Check out Democracy Now! -- it is totally funded by listeners and viewers.
