1. Calendar
The Oktoberfest is this Saturday. You may ask: Why is Oktoberfest in September? Here is why: Even in Germany, they move it back a couple of weeks to party in better weather! Anyway, hope to see you there! (see attached map for directions)

3. Labor Day Parade and Picnic a success We had a great day today as union members of all political stripes joined to celebrate our heritage and our future of doing right by working people. As usual, Democrats were well-represented--as these are things we are passionate about!

Many thanks to all that volunteered to help with the Central States Fair booth. It was important to be there and a great success as many voters heard our message!

4. You're needed at the office!
The PenDems and the Billion Office are asking for volunteers. We are looking for people to come to the Billion Office and do some data entry as well as greet people who happen to walk into the office looking for a friendly face. If you can help... that would be wonderful. Please contact Ritchie Nordstrom, 381-3363, ritch@rushmore.com.

If you think the abortion law RL6 (HB1215) went way over the line, and could use a job, Focus SD needs your help -- and are hiring now. You may call (605) 716-1607 for an interview now!
