1. Support our Schools Parade and Forum
This Saturday, Sept. 9, Democracy In Action is sponsoring a parade and forum, and PenDems are urged to come out and participate!
The parade celebrating education starts at 10 am Saturday morning at Jefferson Academy (East and St. Joe). The parade will lead to Dakota Middle School, where at 11 am there will be a "Town Hall Meeting" on education. Lt. Gov candidate Eric Abrahamson will be a featured speaker.
2. Oktoberfest is a "two-fer" this Saturday:
a Billion event , followed by the main event with Rep. Herseth and Billion.
Come on out to the Stuck Barn for one or both!
4pm Billion pre-Oktoberfest Back Jack fundraiser and party
5pm The annual Oktoberfest, featuring Rep. Stephanie Herseth and Jack Billion!

DIRECTIONS:
1. Go west on Main Street (West Main/Sturgis Road) to Chicago Ave.
2. Turn left on W Chicago.
3. Stay on W Chicago, which turns into Nemo Road.
4. Follow Nemo Road to Schroeder Road (about 2.5 miles).
5. Left on Schroeder Road, follow it around about 1.2 miles and watch
for the signs. ROAD TO THE BARN WILL BE ON THE RIGHT.
